Cassie sat alone at the Slytherin table reading over her letter that was sent from her Father, she deeply loved him and always had but sometimes he couldn't help but put his foot in other peoples affairs, this time it was hers. Last time she had sent her father a letter she briefly stated that the work she seemed to be doing at Hogwarts was somewhat easy, she was never one to brag when it came to homework, in everything else modesty was not her forte but classwork was different, she couldn't look to smart in front her classmates, she was worried that somehow it would scold her reputation, spell work was a completely different thing to essays. She understood to get on in life you have to be a head of the game but it did not mean she wanted her father paying a visit which concluded in Cassie being up to her eyeballs in essays every other day.
Massaging the knots out of her left hand she finished the final paragraph and stuffed her books into her ever growing backpack. She sat back and chomped into an apple she had acquired from the kitchen, she wished that she could go back to her first year in Hogwarts and redo most of it again, she wished that she could go back and re-live the times she had sneaked out into Hogsmeade just to visit the sweet shops, most of all she wished that it wasn't too late to make friends that weren't only into their appearance, she loved her friends fiercely but sometimes she did have the feeling that some of them were a bit too vapid to even graduate school, sometimes she wished she was more like her brother, he always had and air of devil-may-care, which she thought was an admiral quality in a person.

Rom was getting worried. It had been almost 24 hours since he saw Jules. His mind was wondering through hoops. Maybe Dame killed him and dumped him with farting unicorns! Everyone knew how unicornaphobic Jules was! Well he might not be, Bu it wa a frigtening thought. Or maybe... Maybe Juleswas eaten by huge spiders from the forest! Rom wouldn be able to save him, god knows he almost poops his pants everytime he sees a spider. It all was so frightening, he grounded himself from thinking.
Hoping Jules would be in the Great Hall, Rom headed down the stairs shouting greetings to random people. Finally he headed down the last flight, and it became crowded. Rom shoved his way through the growing crowd until finally he made his way down the stairs to the Great Hall.
Surprisingly the students in the Great Hall were still in great numbers. Looking around, he looked to the Slytherin Table seeing people that were not the black haired boy he knew. Freaking out he ran up to a random Slytherin, who happened to be Cassie, and shouted.
"H-Have you... H-Have you s-seen a-a boy named J-Julius P-Pearson?" Rom said breathing hard and looking and sounding like a completely insane person. Well he was at times, especially at tomes like this. 24 whole hours since he last saw Julius... Rom kept thinking he was dead in a ditch somewhere because Dame killed him. Dame was a bad guy, but the others didn't see it. Rom did. Never trusted the boy, but went along with it because Johnny trusted him. Rom settled for trusting him because the five others did. That didn't mean he didn't imagine thing sometimes, or stop watchig Dame.

Cassie was stunned, one minute she was silently thinking to heslef and the next she was being shouted at by some Gryffindor she recognised to be a boy called Romulus. "No I haven't, and if you stop screaming at me I may just be kind enough to ... help".She wasn't going to be completely rde straight away, and he did seem to be panicing quite a lot, though if rumours got out that I'd kindly given my aid to some Gryffindor then she wouldn't be happy. She had heard of that name before, but she couldn't remember where, she'd have to put her feelers (so to speak) out to her 'friends', as long as Romulus wasn't too much hastle.
She never did like to do anything for free, but she supposed that one thing couldn't harm. She sat there staring up at him, he was obviously distressed though she couldn't think why, I mean it sounded like he just could find his friend and Hogwarts was a big place, she just hoped that it wouldn't take too long, though it could be a pick-me-up from he boring day she had had so far.

Oh god. She hadn't seen them? His thoughts wondered and broke through his defense. Jules was dead and he knew it. Dang it Dame, why oh why did he have to be so death eater like? Ron took a deep breathe in trying to stop hyperventalating. Johnny would be so mad Rom let this happen. He should have been there to stop him. Of course he was just imagining all this. He kept forcing the thought that Jules was just hiding and still alive into his head.
"I'm sorry. I just went insane for a bit..." Rom said holding back his panic. He hated not having someone to hang out with and lately it was Jules, him and Bert, and both were busy. He was such a spaz. Why was he so weird? Cause he was Rom of course.

Well, Cassie thought, at least he was sane enough to know he freaked out a bit. “Well sit down don’t just stand there, people will see us together…” She didn’t mean to be rude but she couldn’t help snap, but she did have a reputation to uphold even if he didn’t know that and seen randomly chatting with Gryffindor’s isn’t exactly going to help. “… anyway do you want me to help you find your friend?”
She figured she may as well help him, she felt almost sorry for him, and he reminded her of a puffskein in headlights.
Cassie watched him waiting for an answer, well, at least he didn’t immediately seem to hate her, most students did just because she was a Slytherin, and her persona didn’t help the matter. The thing was Cassie didn’t actually dislike Gryffindors; sure not many gave her a chance but the few she had briefly talked to had all been nice, and believe it or not but in reality she wasn’t one to judge someone she didn’t know.
