Adelaide walked into the Great Hall, shoulder bag with her, and sat down at the Gryffindor table. Those around her gave her space, probably sensing her mood. Word had spread, naturally, about what happened at the Ministry and who had gone. Adelaide had told them that Sirius was her father a year ago and that he didn't do what popular belief said he did. To her surprise, many believed her.
"Hey Blood Traitor," she heard from the Slytherin table. "How does it feel to lose a parent now?"
Adelaide ignored the Slytherin, not falling for the trap. Her entire family, except for her immediate family, had been in Slytherin.
"Hey, Traitor, I'm talking to you."

Cassie was sat at the Slytherin table when she saw Adelaide Black walk into the hall, her friends where all giggling about her losing her father and about other evil things, Cassie played along but she wasn't in the mood, she was being pressured by her parents to accpet the offeer of becoming a death eater, but now the other death eater families knew about her offer and she expected that some of the Auror's did aswell, so much for privacy the death eaters should have learnt by now.
One of Cassie's friends shouted at Adelaide and Cassie cringed for a moment thinking she was going to turn around but thankfully she ignored Cassie's idiotic friend, then she had to open her mouth again and antagonise the poor girl, well that had done it and then when Cassie thought nothing could get worse all of her friends stared at her as if she had shouted out the insults. Cassie straightened her mentally groaning at why she had such insolent friends.

"Hey! Listen to your better," the Slytherin called and Adelaide clinched her hands into fists. "Didn't your mother ever teach you that?"
Adelaide heard laughter coming from the Slythern table and turned to face them. "She did, but I fail to see any among you. You're nothing more than Death Eater wanna-bes. How you can be anyone's better is beyond me."
"How dare you," said the instigator, standing. "You dare speak to me like that? Your father was Lord Voldemort's most loyal servant."
"Prove me wrong!" Adelaide didn't care what happened, nothing she did would bring Sirius back. Maybe this was her way of acting out.
(feel free to play the NPC Slytherins)

"Hey! Listen to your better," Cassie cringed again and whispered to her friend to stop, she could clearly tell something was about to happen. "Didn't your mother ever teach you that?" “God Dammit will you shut up are you crazy?!” Cassie whispered furiously to her ‘friend’ but she got ignored as they liked to play with the lion that had been trapped in a corner.
Cassie didn’t join in on the laughing, she was fed up off her friends being pain n the asses but hey she was the ring leader and now she couldn’t shut them up. She looked up as Adelaide spoke "She did, but I fail to see any among you. You're nothing more than Death Eater wannabe’s. How you can be anyone's better is beyond me." Cassie groaned and was about to protest when her friend shot up out of her seat "How dare you," Oh great that’s it time to step in Cassie thought. "You dare speak to me like that? Your father was Lord Voldemort's most loyal servant." Well that was news to Cassie Sirius was one of the good guys, he had betrayed Voldemort.
"Prove me wrong!" she heard Adelaide say, she didn’t sound too happy to say the least. Cassie slowly rose to stand next to her friend, now usually she’d jump in defending her friend having a go but everything her friend had said was lies, though Cassie had to single herself out from the group to try and maybe calm this down, the other girls would be dead if she didn’t step in.
“Listen Black, my friend here well she’s a bitch, plain and simple and god knows why her parents love her, well they don’t but bare with me” Cassie took a breath composing herself, her friend was indeed fuming but Cassie knew she wouldn't have a go at her. “What I am trying to say is she’s an idiot and just for the record I wouldn’t go walking around calling people death eater wannabe’s whether you’re right or not, listen let’s not start something we can avoid because if you kill her then you’ll have real Death Eaters on your ass,” Cassie took a breath and took her wand out and pointed it not at Adelaide but at her friend “I’m trying to keep the peace The Gods only know why, but I have a had a bad day and I thought nothing could make it worse but if this battle of the wits… and witless” Cassie turned to her ‘friend’ “continues then someone will get hurt,”Cassie straightened her back but relaxed her posture “let’s call it a mistake and from now on I’ll keep a good hold on my … kid’s tongues” Cassie glanced at her group as a warning, took a breath and let her heart settle after her rant, she was just glad that her ‘friend’ hadn’t opened her stupid mouth yet, probably because Cassie was digging her wand into her ribs, she removed the wand and sat down again hoping everything would be fine but stupid is as stupid does “Yeah Black watch your back “ Her friend spat the words filled with venom. Cassie groaned and nearly slammed her head against the table.

Adelaide couldn't hide her surprise when another Slytherin stood and actually turned on her fellow Housemates. Adelaide listened to the Slytherin and allowed her to finish. "I'd gladly welcome the challenge," she whispered after the bit about killing the first Slytherin. "Or you'll what?" Adelaide shot back once the second Slytherin finished and sat down. "I'm not afraid of anything you can shoot my way."
"Addy," one of her friends whispered worriedly. "Sit down before you get yourself and the House in trouble."
Adelaide waved her away. "You heard what happened at the Ministry," she whispered back. "My dad died there. Murdered by our lovely cousin Bellatrix." Sarcasm was dripping off of the word "lovely".
((It's fine.))

Cassie was slightly panting after her rant, she couldn't be dealing with this her friend thought she was god's gift to man so she wasn't close to Cassie but it's not like she could stand next to the Gryffindor and take her side; Cassie always had a go at her group to show that she was the 'leader' but now she was usffocating in their ego's they thought no one could touch them.. they were wrong. Cassie smacked the back of the girls head with her palm "Sit down, shut up and remember who your talking to" She said it so demanding that she reminded herse;f of her mother in a bad mood. She sighed in relief when she saw one of Adelaide's friends walk over and try to take her back, though it looked as if that didn't go as well planned as she thought it would. "No is shooting anything at anybody" She fixed her friends with a glare but also looked to Adelaide hoping she'd get the jist and wouldn't launch over the table, she had drawn her wand out behind her back just in case but she didn't want to make a scene in the middle of the hall with so many students and teachers which could walk by and ban them if anything did happen. Cassie slightly over heard the conversation happening between the two Gryffindors but didn't let her emotion slip into her facial expression; Cassie had met Bellatrix on a few occasions and really liked her hoping that she would be able to spend more time and maybe learn a few things off her aswell; she was hoping that Adelaide didn't know that because that wouldn't bode well in her books.

Adelaide turned back to the Slytherin that stood up to her Housemates. "Then tell your "I'm better than thou because I'm Pure Blood" friend not to shoot her mouth of, and we'll all be fine."
She was so beyond fuming, if one more Slytherin, other than the one that was actually trying to end the shouting match, said something her, her family, or even her blood status, Adelaide was about ready to lose it and start a wizard duel right there in the Great Hall. She was fed up with it all and didn't know how much more she could take before she shot back with her wand instead of her mouth.
