Please Read all the rules before posting anywhere on the site.
Roleplay Rules
1. All posts must be at least 150 words long. This way, you always have enough to reply to, and it's a good way to make sure we don't have any one-liners. 150 words is short, and not at all difficult. If you are found breaking this rule you will be warned twice before being deleted.
2. Please attempt to have as little spelling errors as you possibly can. There is a spell check button so please use it.
3. No god-moding what-so-ever. That means do not tell the other person what their character is doing for them.
4. Be fair when in a school fight or an arguement of any sort. Your character can not always win. Give the others a chance to win as well.
5. Swearing is allowed, just don't go over board on it.
6. When you are finished with a roleplay, please post "Finished" or "done" on the thread. This allows everyone to know that the roleplay has been completed for that thread or that the roleplay has moved elsewhere.
C-Box Rules
1. Don't argue with another member in that chat box. You may have friendly debates and things like that, but if it turns into an argument, please take that argument to private messages. If it gets to out of hand and you are getting bullied or anything like that, please contact one of the staff members and let one of us know what's going on.
2. Do not advertise in the chat box. That's what we have the advertisement thread for.
3. When talking in the C-box, don't ignore any one trying to join your conversation. Our site is like a community: everyone is allowed to participate in every part of it.
4. If you have a question for one of the staff members, please do not ask it in the C-box. Ask it in a private message unless it's simple.
5. No character Hijacking in the IC c-box. It is rude, not to mention SPAM. First time is a warning second time your IP adress gets banned.
Character Rules
1. Don't post an application for a character that has already been accepted when dealing with canons. If there is a pending application for a character you want, you are more then welcome to post another application for that character as well. The application that is done better will get accepted.
2. Original characters are welcome, obviously.
3. Only one character per account. If you want to make a second character, please create another account to do so. Everyone is allowed up to six characters, but if you cannot keep up with all of them, you will be asked to get rid of one or more.
4. After your application has been accepted, please change your display name to the name of your character. Also, please try to get an icon of your character. Also make sure to fill out all the madatory claims.
Absent Rules
1. If you are going to be away for a large amount of time, please post a thread in the appropiate board letting everyone know that you are going to be gone and for how long. 1.5: The password for the app is weasleywizardingwheezes
2. You most post at least twice a week if you haven't posted an away thread. This way it keeps the site going and active. We encourage posting way more then that though if you can.
3. If you haven't posted in 10 days without an away thread, your account will be marked as inactive and a pm and email will go out. After that you'll have three days to claim your character before your account is deleted and your character marked as open. If you come back to the site after that three day mark you can still claim that character, but only if your character has not already been taken. I never delete any threads or apps they will be found in the graveyard.
4. If you are staff and are away for more than five days without a post in the absent board your position will be taken away until you come back and prove you deserve your position.
Thread Rules
1. When you post in a thread outside the roleplay zones, stay on topic. It would be rude to who ever started the thread if you went off topic.
2. Please write at least a sentence, if not more when replying to a non-roleplay thread unless the thread is a game. Anything less probably wouldn't be worth posting anyways.
Courtesy Rules
1. Be nice to all the members. Everyone is here for the same reasons, so don't take away from another person's enjoyment.
2. Don't ignore anyone. It's rude.
